Along with the 100-400mm F5-6.3 DG DN OS Contemporary Lens for Sony E, Leica L, and new Teleconverters, Sigma has also released three fixed focal length lenses for Leica L mounts: Sigma 16mm F1.4 DC DN, Sigma 30mm F1.4 DC DN, and Sigma 56mm F1.4 DC DN Contemporary lenses.
All three lenses are designed for photographic equipment with sensors in the APS-C format (at the moment these are the Leica CL and TL2/TL/T models). Earlier these Sigma lenses were released for Sony E, Canon EF-M, and Micro Four Thirds mount.
The developer reports that an algorithm for controlling the AF drive and communication speed, as well as support for shooting with AF-C and the mechanism for correcting camera shake, has been developed and optimized. Each lens uses a simple dust-proof and splash-resistant housing with rubber sealing.
