Sigma Corporation introduced a new 100-400mm F5-6.3 DG DN OS Contemporary Lens for Sony E and Leica L mounts. According to the manufacturer, this telephoto lens designed specifically for full-frame mirrorless cameras, remarkable optical performance, and a full range of functionalities in a compact body for exceptional lightweight shooting.

In the design of the lens there are 22 elements in 16 groups (including One F Low Dispersion (FLD) element and four Special Low Dispersion (SLD) elements), the minimum shooting distance is 112 cm (wide-angle position) / 160 cm (telephoto), and the maximum magnification when shooting is 1:4.1 (at 400 mm).

The Sigma Contemporary lens has a Ø67 mm diameter for front filters, rounded 9-blade diaphragm, dimensions of Ø86 × 197.2 mm, and it weighs 1135 g.

The Sigma Teleconverters upholds the image quality of the original lens to the utmost while extending the focal length. They are developed exclusively for mirrorless systems, and the AF is effective without being limited by the F-number.
