The LG BU53PST is a new projector designed for offices. The short throw laser projector was first launched in Canada and became available in the US earlier this year. This 4K laser projector has a throw ratio of 0.94 to 1.14, which the company says makes it suitable for small meeting rooms. You can project images from 40 to 300 inches (~102 to 762 cm) in diameter, with a total of 8.3 million pixels and a peak brightness of 5,000 lumens.

A contrast ratio of 3,000,000:1 contributes to the clarity of images in a bright room, and you can project images in different aspect ratios such as 16:9 and 4:3. Lens shift and 1.2x zoom let you adjust the image to suit the space, and typical camera operating noise is between 26 and 29 dBA. The gadget has two built-in 5W speakers for a stereo sound experience and supports the LG Sound Sync feature when connected to a soundbar. You can connect it via Bluetooth or using various ports, such as HDMI ARC and USB-A.

The LG BU53PST projector measures 370 x 290 x 155.7 mm (~14.6 x 11.4 x 4.6-in) and weighs 9.7 kg (~21.4 lbs). The laser light source is expected to last up to 20,000 hours, and the product is backed by a comprehensive three-year limited warranty.
