Open-ear specialist Shokz is launching two new products at CES 2025. First, the company presents the new OpenFit 2, intended to set new standards in true wireless headphones for open ears, and second, the OpenMeet, a headset for professional use.

Shokz OpenFit 2: New open-ear headphones

The new OpenFit 2 follows the OpenFit presented in 2023 (approx. 200 euros on Amazon ) and, according to the manufacturer, opens a new chapter in open-ear technology. The DualBoost technology uses two drivers (high and low frequencies) in each earbud. Separate and optimize frequency ranges to reproduce audio content, such as music, in more detail. Additionally, OpenBass 2.0 directs dynamic bass vibrations straight into the ear.

The new Shokz OpenFit 2 adapts exceptionally well to the ear’s contours, thanks to its unique design. Each earbud weighs just 9.4 g, making them very lightweight. The flexible nickel-titanium alloy in the ear hook provides a secure fit, while Ultra-Soft Silicone 2.0 enhances comfort. Like the predecessor, these earbuds leave the ears entirely free, allowing you to stay aware of your surroundings.

In addition, the OpenFit 2 from Shokz offers multipoint pairing via Bluetooth 5.4, IP55 certification, touch controls, physical buttons, and up to 11 hours of battery life. Combined with the charging case, it is up to 48 hours.

The new Shokz OpenFit 2 is already on sale via Amazon for a recommended retail price of $179.99 in Black and Beige color options.
