Sega Genesis Classics Collection for PS4, PC and Xbox One scheduled on May 29

It started with an accidental leak from Sega itself. Now, one day after the company makes the slip, it’s official: “Sega Genesis Classics” collection will be released with more than 50 games for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

If you are a longing fan who spent the childhood with playing Mega Drive – a name by which we know the Sega Genesis, this is your moment of killing misses.

This is the second great news nostalgic fans have about Sega this March. The company is also reshaping the games of the “Sega Forever” system, which makes the company’s classics for smartphones. This collection, which previously featured emulated titles, will now bring ported games to ensure better device performance.

Now, in an official statement, Sega wrote that its new Sega Genesis Classics collection will have more than 50 retro games, of all genres. This includes arcade action, shooters, beat’m ups, puzzles, and more. Also include modern features such as online multiplayer, achievements, among other features.

The physical edition will be available for pre-order at $29.96 from resellers in the US, Europe, the Middle East and Africa very soon, and it is expected to launch on May 29, 2018.
