ViewSonic has expanded its M Series mini LED projector called M2e with the highlight of the first time equipped with ToF (Time of Flight) technology, allowing the mini projector for home to focus automatically in 1s only, 3-5 times faster than other projection technology.
ViewSonic says the ToF sensor allows for accurate distance measurements based on the travel time of photons from the sensor to the projection surfaces. This technology has high precision linearity and works well within a 3m distance.
With traditional DLP projector technologies in the past, when users moved the projector to a different location, they would have to use the remote control or manually adjust the projector to refocus from the beginning. For ViewSonic M2e mini pocket projector, thanks to the built-in G-sensor, the device will automatically detect and activate the focus mode as soon as the user changes the projector’s position. Not only is the image focused precisely, but the focusing speed takes only 1s, which is 3 to 5 times faster than conventional autofocus.
ViewSonic says the M2e mini projector for home is designed for work and home entertainment with high mobility, ease of installation, and connection. With a weight of less than 1kg and compact size, users can easily put it in a bag or backpack to move.
The M2e mini projector screen has handy features such as quick power on/off, 1-second autofocus, auto keystone, and a customizable stand that allows the projector to project at a variety of angles. In addition, users can easily connect other smart devices to the M2e via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or via a USB Type-C cable.
For more information, ViewSonic M2e has Full HD resolution and 125% Rec.790 cinematic color coverage by using the latest 2nd generation LED technology. The device is capable of projecting on an 80-inch screen at a distance of 2.1m. Thanks to the use of low-heat LED light sources and combined with ViewSonic’s exclusive heat dissipation design, ViewSonic says the device will operate smoothly, without annoying noise.
