After a few weeks of public beta, Samsung has released an update for the stable version of its Internet web browser for Gear VR. This Samsung Gear VR browser is for virtual reality viewer. New Gear VR Internet Browser app version 4.2 brings several important innovations in terms of design and improve the overall web browsing experience on the Gear VR, making it more engaging and convenient to control. 
In new Samsung Gear VR Web Browser user can now able to change the background using premium images provided by cloud graphics company OTOY. As of now there are a total of eight backgrounds, but it seems that it will add more in the future. It also supports WebVR 1.0, an open-source JavaScript API originally developed by Mozilla. It allows users to view 3D images on websites from various angles.
Samsung VR Web Browser for Gear VR update will be made available for everyone immediately, but will be released gradually over the next few days.
