Samsung introduces its new QN990F NEO QLED 8K TV line with two additions that provide a better experience and are more in line with the latest trends. With Vision AI, you can now see the TV as an assistant to help you watch better content, while the wireless One Connect makes the TV setup simpler and more beautiful.

The rest of the Samsung QN990F NEO QLED 8K is an LCD TV with a MINI-LED panel, a quantum dot color processing layer that Samsung has developed for many years. The NEO QLED 8K QN990F still has a skinny screen border of only about 2mm, and the TV is only about 1cm thick. When mounted on the wall, it is almost flat.
Samsung Vision AI:
Vision AI is part of Samsung’s strategy to transform the TV from a passive content consumption device into a smart “companion” that meets all entertainment, personalization, and SmartHome management needs. According to Samsung, thanks to its ability to recognize the environment, adapt to personal preferences, and automatically provide valuable features, Vision AI will help users.

Personalize the experience:
- Click to Search: Allows searching for information on the screen without interrupting the viewing experience, helping users quickly find actors or content.
- Live Translate: Real-time subtitle translation for live broadcasts, supporting 7 languages.
- Generative Wallpaper: Turns TV into a work of art, generated by AI based on user preferences and usage context.
Support in SmartHome ecosystem:
- Home Insights: Provides real-time notifications about the home environment, including safety alerts and daily updates.
- Pet and Family Care: Uses the TV’s camera and speakers to detect unusual behaviors like falls or break-ins and automatically adjusts the environment (like dimming the lights while sleeping).
Improve image and sound quality:
Vision AI automatically analyzes the content and surrounding environmental conditions, optimizing images and sounds in real time, providing a more realistic and vivid experience.

Samsung is the only company currently discussing security on TVs. This is extremely important in the coming AI era.
8K on the 85″ screen of the Samsung QN990F NEO QLED 8K is impressive. It is detailed even when standing 1m close to the TV.
One Connect Wireless:
With this device, using the TV will be very easy compared to before, when the connection ports were behind the TV, making it difficult to set up and use. LG has had similar technology on their M series TVs since 2 years ago, and now Samsung also has it. This will be the standard way to connect signals to the TV to help bring a better experience.

Samsung QN990F NEO QLED 8K: Super thin and beautiful
Samsung’s Neo QLED 8K series has been very thin and beautiful. This year’s Samsung QN990F NEO QLED 8K still retains those values. With the addition of wireless One Connect, you can comfortably hang it on the wall and enjoy TV like a painting.

Sansui recently offered the S55VOUG, a 55-inch 4K OLED TV with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a 40-watt 2.1 sound system, AI karaoke, a thin design, HDR10, Dolby Vision, HDMI 2.1, and HDMI eARC. The company claims it’s the most affordable flagship model with these features, at $799.99 only.
