Samsung announced a new Odyssey G30A gaming monitor in its Odyssey G3 series. The new Samsung PC monitor comes with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and has a Full HD resolution.
Samsung Odyssey G30A is delivered with a 16: 9 aspect ratio and is aimed specifically at gamers. Samsung is thus expanding its already impressive selection of gaming monitors. This gaming screen is available in 27 and 24-inch versions. It has a lower resolution with Full HD and has a refresh rate of 144 Hz.
This Samsung PC monitor will have to compete with other competing products that offer a similar feature set for around under $300. Unfortunately, the brightness of 250 cd/m2 is not particularly high for a gaming monitor, but should nevertheless be sufficient for most users.
The manufacturer specifies the refresh rate with 144 Hz, the latency for MPRT with 1 ms. It is also important for gamers that tearing is combated with FreeSync Premium technology.
