Samsung Odyssey G7 Curved QLED Gaming Monitor now available for pre-order at $699.99

Samsung Electronics at the beginning of the year introduced the Samsung Odyssey G7 1000R QLED gaming monitor along with the Odyssey G9, which is finally ready to go on sale. Sources claim that the new product will be released in June.

The Samsung Odyssey G7 (G75T) Curved Gaming Monitor is now available for pre-order via the and those interested will have to pay up $699.99 for the 27-inch size and $799.99 for the 32-inch model. And the shipping will start from June 16th, 2020.

The new Samsung 1440p gaming monitor comes with the aspect ratio of 16:9, a proverbial cornerstone of the monitor is the QLED technology, boasting vivid colors and deep blacks. The display features a 2560 × 1440 pixel resolution, 1ms response time is perfect for playing high-speed trigger-happy action games, as it keeps the picture sharp even in hectic combat.

The gaming monitor 240hz refresh rate is meant mainly for gamers, reduces eye fatigue, and makes visuals smooth and fluid. Samsung set the brightness at 350cd/m2. An interesting addition is it’s slightly curved screened, which improves the immersion when watching movies or gaming. It uses DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 for computer connectivity. It comes with the matte black color design along with a color-changing rear core lighting system that can remain static or dim during gameplay, as well as change colors based on the preferences of the gamer.

The monitor has a blue light filter, which helps if you have trouble sleeping due to a disrupted circadian rhythm. The display is equipped with the Flicker-free mode, allaying eye pain, and fatigue. A welcome feature for gamers is proprietary image syncing with AMD graphics cards, usually known as FreeSync. It also supports picture-in-picture that lets you watch two content sources simultaneously.
