Samsung has expanded its Notebook series portfolio with the launch of the one variant of the Notebook 5 with a 15.6-inch FHD 16:9 display and two variants of the Notebook 3 with a 14-inch and 15.6-inch displays. All three Notebooks will be available to buy in South Korea from April, followed by a global release, including markets such as Brazil and China, in Q2 2018.
Samsung Notebook 5 is powered by an Intel Core 7th generation dual-core processor / 8th generation quad-core processor, combined with Nvidia GeForce MX150 GPU with GDDR4 RAM. The notebook has a 15.6-inch anti-glare, LED-backlit IPS display with 1920×1080 pixels (FHD) resolution.
In terms of storage, the notebook gets a combination of SSD + HDD. It has a weight of 1.97 kg, VGA front camera, and battery capacity of 43Wh. The Notebook 5 comes in a Light Titan color variant and its dimensions are 377.4 x 248.6 x 19.9mm.
Samsung has the Notebook 3 that available in three screen sizes: a 14-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) LED panel, a 15.6-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) screen, and a 15.6-inch full-HD (1920×1080 pixels) resolution. All three models are powered by Intel’s 7th and 8th generation processors, coupled with either integrated graphics or a Nvidia GeForce MX110 GPU and DDR4 RAM.
The 14-inch variant has a weight of 1.68 kg and thickness of 19.8mm, while the 15.6-inch variants have a weight of 1.97 kg and are 19.9mm thick. There are SSD+HDD storage options, and the Notebook 3 has a battery capacity of 43Wh. All three models will be available in Misty Gray, Night Charcoal, Deep Peach, and Pure White color variants. A 14-inch model measures 336 x 232.9 x 19.8mm and 15.6-inch model measures 377.4 x 248.6 x 19.6mm.
