Samsung Galaxy Wide with Mobile TV and 3000mAh Battery Launched

Samsung has introduced the Galaxy Wide smartphone in the Korean market, it is mid-range smartphone from the company with Mobile TV Service in its all new Wide phone series. Samsung Galaxy Wide price in Korea around KRW 319,000 – approximately $273 USD, and will be available later this week. 

Samsung Galaxy Wide Specifications

The device has similar specifications as the Galaxy On7 that was launched last year in India, except Mobile TV Service. It features a 5.5-inch TFT LCD display with HD (720×1280 pixels) resolution. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor that is fueled by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset clubbed with Adreno 306 GPU. It packs a 2GB of RAM and comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via micro SD card slot up to 128GB.

On the camera front, the Galaxy Wide bears a 13-megapixel CMOS camera sensor at the back with LED flash that can help you to capture bright images in dark environment. There is also a Quick Camera option by tapping the Home button twice for quick camera operation. The rear camera can record Full HD 1080p videos at 30fps. It has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with 120-degree wide angle lens to capture wide group selfie and video calling with Palm Selfie mode.

The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Samsung’s own TouchWiz interface on top, it comes equipped with a 3000mAh battery capacity is rated to deliver up to 12 hours of web browsing and video playback time; up to 21 hours of talk time and music playback time of up to 78 hours. 

For connectivity, Samsung Galaxy Wide supports dual SIM card slot with dual standby, and includes 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, microUSB 2.0, 3.5 mm audio jack and FM radio options. It measures 151.8 x 77.5 x 8.2mm, and weighs 171 grams. It comes equipped with an acceleration sensor, and a proximity sensor.
