Samsung launched the Galaxy S6 tablet last year in USA and a lighter version of the Samsung Galaxy S6 tablet has been in the rumors for quite some time. Now, Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite has been officially announced in US, it comes with a metal body, S Pen, 7,040mAh battery, and a 10.4-inch display.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite price in USA starts from $349.99 for the 64GB WiFi-only variant, and 128GB storage WiFi-only model costs $429.99 and are already available to buy via the Bhphotovideo.com online store. New Galaxy S6 tablet model comes in Angora Blue, Chiffon Pink, and Oxford Grey color options.

The Samsung Tablet S6 Lite flaunts a 10.4-inch TFT display with a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels (WUXGA+). It is powered by the Samsung Exynos 9610 Octa-Core processor clocked at up to 2.3GHz. It is paired with 4GB RAM with up to 128GB storage which can be expanded up to 1TB with microSD.
Coming to the cameras, the Samsung S6 tablet Lite variant sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with auto-focus and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie and video calling. The camera can also shoot video in 1080p at 30fps.
In terms of the design, the front panel contains thick bezels similar to the Galaxy Tab S6, it measures 244.5×154.3×7.0mm and weighs 467 grams. The connectivity options include Dual-Band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and 4G LTE. It runs on OneUI 2 based on Android 10 and packs a 7040mAh battery that the company claims give a video playback time of up to 13-hours.
Samsung last year has also announced the Galaxy Tab A 8 Kid Edition tablet of its tablet’s product portfolio. It has been priced at $149.99 (Wi-Fi Only) and comes with a protective cover and additional software.
