Samsung has finally officially unveiled the Galaxy S25 Edge at a launch event. At the event, Samsung repeatedly emphasized how robust the ultra-thin smartphone is thanks to its titanium frame, brand-new Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2, and IP68 certification.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is finally official. Starting at $1,099.99, the device is more expensive than the Galaxy S25+, despite the lack of a telephoto camera and a significantly smaller battery. However, reports claim that the Galaxy S25 Edge boasts a particularly robust casing that’s just 5.85 millimeters thick and weighs 163 grams.
Titanium forms the smartphone’s frame, brand-new Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 protects the display from scratches and drops, and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 covers the back. The casing is I68 certified, meaning it’s water and dust-resistant. There are no surprises when it comes to the features. As with all models in the Galaxy S25 series, Samsung uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 for the Galaxy processor, and the 6.7-inch display features a 120 Hz LTPO AMOLED panel with QHD+ resolution.
The ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is seamlessly integrated into the display, while the 12-megapixel f/2.2 selfie camera is housed in a central punch-hole. Meanwhile, the pill-shaped camera module on the back contains the 200 MP f/1.7 primary camera, which was previously seen on the Galaxy S25 Ultra, along with a 12 MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera. The 3,900 mAh battery is relatively small, but a 25-watt USB-C charger can charge it from 0 to 50 percent in 30 minutes, and the device also supports wireless charging.
