Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro and Samsung Galaxy J7 Max with Samsung Pay Mini Announced

Samsung India, today on Wednesday announced two new smartphones: Galaxy J7 Pro and Galaxy J7 Max in India. Both are mid-range smartphones in which the Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro is the same device as the Galaxy J7 2017 smartphone that was introduced last week.

Samsung also unveiled new Samsung Pay Mini service which is a toned-down version of the regular Samsung Pay. Samsung Pay Mini works on Galaxy J7 Max without NFC for UPI and Mobile Wallet Payments.

Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro and J7 Max Price and Availability

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Max price in India is Rs. 20,900 – approximately $325 and Samsung Galaxy J7 Max price in India is Rs. 17,900 – approximately $278. Both devices will be available Samsung’s official online and offline stores, the Galaxy J7 Max will be available from June 20, while the Galaxy J7 Pro will be made available in mid-July. Both the devices come in Black and Gold color options.

Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro Specifications

Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro features a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution and 2.5D curved glass layer on top of it. It is powered by a 1.6GHz Octa-Core Exynos 7870 processor with Mali T830 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It offers 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded using a microSD card up to 128GB.

On the camera front, It features a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with f/1.7 aperture and LED flash. For selfie it comes with a 13-megapixel front facing camera with f/1.9 aperture and front LED flash to capture stunning selfies. You can also find a fingerprint sensor and is also IP54 certified for being splash proof.

The smartphone running Android 7.0 Nougat and packs a 3600mAh battery. It supports dual-SIM slots, and for connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, and 3.5mm audio jack.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Max features a large 5.7-inch IPS LCD display with full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution and 2.5D curved glass. It is powered by a 1.6GHz MediaTek Helio P20 octa-core processor paired with ARM Mali T880 GPU and 4GB of RAM. It packs 32GB of internal storage which can be further expandable via a microSD card up to 128GB.

On the camera front, Galaxy J7 Max flaunts a 13-megapixel rear and front sensors with f/1.7 aperture and f/1.9 aperture respectively, and flash support on both ends. There’s also a smart glow mode around the rear camera that gives you alerts for notifications when they arrive. You can also find a front fingerprint sensor on the device.

The handset runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and packs a 3300mAh battery. For connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, and 3.5mm audio jack.
