Samsung also introduced new convertibles from the Galaxy Book family at the Unpacked Event. As part of the unpacked event, Samsung not only presented a new 15-inch Galaxy Book and two Galaxy Book Pro models with 13 and 15-inch diagonals, but also new convertibles, which can probably be considered the successors of the Galaxy Book Flex series from the previous year. As with the two Galaxy Book Pro Samsung laptops 2021, Samsung only uses AMOLED displays with Full HD resolution in 16:9 format for the two 360 degree convertibles, here of course with a touchscreen and compatibility with Samsung’s S-Pen.

The two 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch mini notebook Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 convertibles also have an Intel EVO certificate and use Tiger Lake U chips; the two AMOLED panels are certified according to the VESA DisplayHDR 500 standard. In connection with a Galaxy Tab S7 or Galaxy Tab S7+ (available on Amazon from $599.99), you can use the tablet wirelessly as a second display, as with the laptop variants, the sound comes from AKG, the webcam delivers the usual 720p retro quality. Of course, the Galaxy Book Pro 360 is not quite as light as the Galaxy Book Pro, but with 1.04 kg for the 13-inch model and 1.39 kg for the 15-inch model, Samsung still sets the tone, especially since the 13.3-inch mini laptop Samsung model will also be available in a variant with 5G modem (1.10 kg weight).

While the 15-inch model has a Core i7, 16 GB RAM, and 512 GB memory in addition to the Core i5 model with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage, the 13.3-inch Galaxy Book Pro 360 with Core i5, 8 GB of RAM, and 256 GB of storage. Samsung has also promised the 5G variant for June, which will then probably – similar to the Galaxy Book with LTE – with a Core i7, 16 GB RAM, and 512 GB SSD is populated. In contrast to the laptops, Samsung does not install a USB-A port but 3x USB-C, one of which supports Thunderbolt 4.
