Samsung Electronics introduced the Galaxy Book Flex α (Alpha) notebook after the Galaxy Book S was introduced back in August last year, equipped with a capacious battery and QLED display. The Samsung Galaxy Book Flex α is based on the 10th generation Intel Core processor. The configuration may include 8GB or 16GB of RAM and 256GB, 512GB or 1TB SSDs.
The laptop would highlight the Wi-Fi 6 interface, USB 3.0 ports, an HD camera, and a fingerprint sensor. It can run up to 17.5 hours on a single charge. As for the display, according to the manufacturer, “the QLED display, capable of producing over one billion colors, QLED makes streaming your favorite content more immersive than ever before.” The maximum screen brightness of 600 cd/m2. The screen size is 13.3 inches with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. The screen supports touch input using the Active Pen, but it is not included.
A 2-in-1 laptop weighs 1.19 kg, and its dimensions are 304.9 x 202.0 x 13.9 mm. The housing has a sturdy aluminum frame. The Samsung Galaxy Book Flex α will go on sale in the first half of 2020 at a price of $830.
