Samsung Galaxy A56 5G Hands-on

Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy A56 5G, the successor to last year’s A55. While the phone doesn’t look much different from the front, the back has changed significantly. The triple camera now features a pill-shaped module, and the rings match the new Galaxy S25 Ultra and Z Fold 6.

The rear camera remains the same as its predecessor, with a 50 MP primary sensor with OIS, a 5 MP macro sensor, and a 12 MP ultra-wide sensor. The manufacturer has upgraded the front camera from a 12 MP selfie sensor to a 32 MP camera with HDR and 4K video support.

As for the front, the new Galaxy A56 features a 6.7-inch display, which is 0.1 inches larger than its predecessor. This AMOLED display has a peak brightness of 1,200 nits, an improvement over its predecessor. However, the refresh rate remains the same at 120 Hz.
