After the launch of the Galaxy A02s, Samsung continued to launch another low-cost phone in the Samsung Galaxy A series, the Galaxy A02. It not only features a youthful design with a large screen, long battery life for comfortable use, but is also special in the mobile world! Now, join us with the Samsung Galaxy A02 Hands-on experience and check out these smartphone features now!
There are 3 color versions of Samsung A02: Blue, Black, and Red. But in which we liked the Red version the most because it has more dots that make it feel like colored marshmallows. Like other low-cost phones, the Galaxy A02’s back is made of polycarbonate material, which gives a solid grip and is not crimped.
Taking a closer look at the rear, we will see a dual-camera module consisting of a 13MP main camera and a 2MP macro camera. This means that in addition to general photography, the device can also help you explore the small world. In terms of parameters, the Samsung A02’s main camera is comparable to the A02s, but in terms of shooting quality, we’ll give you a detailed review later. But we can expect that the Samsung Galaxy A02 will also give the same photo quality as the Samsung A02s (REVIEW).
Returning to the front, we will recognize the familiar Infinity-V display on this phone. Indeed, Samsung also wants to use the Infinity-O display but is afraid of raising the price of the product. The screen of the Galaxy A02 is up to 6.5-inch with HD+ resolution. With such a large screen, while surfing on Facebook, Instagram, more content will be displayed while watching YouTube, TikTok, … so that is much more eye-catching.
Through our practical experience, the screen has high brightness, can be used well in many different situations, the original colors are well displayed, not too bright. Next, let’s take a closer look at the edges around the phone.
The left edge of the device has a SIM slot and memory card. The right side has volume up and down keys and power keys. The top edge is blank.
Adequate specs, full-day battery life are highlights of Galaxy A02
With only a 3,000 mAh battery compared to the Galaxy A01, the Galaxy A02 has a 5,000 mAh battery and provides comfortable use for a long time. According to Samsung, you can use it to talk for 1.5 days, watch movies for 1 day, and listen to music for more than 4 days. We will have a detailed review of the Galaxy A02’s battery life soon.
It is a bit unfortunate that the Samsung A02 is not equipped with fast charging technology. So, it may take 3-4 hours to fully charge the battery. In terms of configuration, the Galaxy A02 is powered by a MediaTek MT6739WW SoC, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, and still satisfies basic usage needs such as taking pictures, watching movies, web surfing, and playing light games.
During the quick experience, we found that the swipe and touch of the device were smooth, the application opening time was also quite fast, giving a comfortable feel for use.
As a low-cost phone, the Samsung Galaxy A02 is aimed at ordinary smartphone users for simple purposes such as listening to music, calling, texting, and surfing the web. As well as having a larger screen, longer battery life to help optimize the experience.
