Samsung Odyssey G55A Curved Gaming Monitor with 165Hz, 1ms

Samsung has launched the Odyssey G55A gaming monitor, which comes in two screen sizes: 27-inch and 32-inch diagonals. The new curved monitor complements its Samsung G5 Odyssey series. The Samsung Odyssey G55A features a curved display, 1ms response time, a 165Hz refresh rate, and native WQHD resolution.

Samsung has unveiled another gaming monitor from the Odyssey G5 series. The LS32AG550ENXZA and LS27AG550ENXZA build on the Samsung G5 Odyssey were launched last year with a similar look, design, and I/O. So far, Samsung has unveiled four Odyssey G5 series monitors, including the Odyssey G55A.

Accordingly, the new Samsung G5 monitor has an HDMI 2.0 port, a DisplayPort 1.4 connection, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. There is also HDR10. It has an IPS panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels (WQHD). The monitor hits peaks of 165Hz, 300cd/m² brightness, and has MPRT response times of 1ms, which should be enough for most gamers. Additionally, the Odyssey G55A monitor is compatible with AMD FreeSync Premium.

Odyssey G55A Samsung 27 inch curved monitor costs $379.99, and it can be purchased through Amazon.com and Newegg.com websites. While the Samsung 32 curved monitor model is available on the Bhphotovideo.com store for $399.89.
