Roku Streaming Stick 4K and 4K+ TV Streaming Devices Introduced

Roku has unveiled the new best Roku TV streaming devices: Roku Streaming Stick 4K, which supports 4K resolution, and the Roku Streaming Stick 4K+, which features the Roku Voice Remote Pro. At the same time, Roku OS 10.5 was announced, which includes updates for quick customer access to content, enhancements to Roku Voice, new features for the Roku mobile app, enhanced surround sound, and more.

According to the manufacturer, the Roku Streaming Stick 4K loads 30% faster than the previous model, supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+, and features a redesigned long-range Wi-Fi receiver that delivers up to 2x faster speeds. Voice control is included, but you can also voice control the Roku 4K Stick from Alexa or Google Assistant-enabled devices. AirPlay 2 support lets you stream content to your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. The Roku Streaming devices also support HomeKit, which allows you to control Roku devices using Siri and the Home app on Apple devices.

Price and availability

Roku Streaming Stick 4K has been priced at $49.99, and it is now available to pre-order via the Amazon.com website.

The Roku Streaming Stick 4K+, on the other hand, costs $69.99 and it can also be pre-ordered through Amazon.com. It is claimed to be a “brand new product” that integrates the Roku Streaming Stick 4K and the Roku Voice Remote Pro. The Roku Voice Remote Pro features battery power and a voice-activated remote search for a lost remote.

Sales for the new best Roku TV streaming devices in the US will begin from 17th October, and in Canada, the UK, and other countries where Roku devices are sold in the coming months.
