Asus is launching another new ELMB monitor for PC gamers, which can combine anti-tearing and anti-blur. The ROG Strix XG27ACMG is a 27in QHD Fast IPS monitor with a 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. It supports a maximum refresh rate of 270Hz, requiring high-performance gaming hardware to achieve these frame rates consistently.
The specs also promise a 1 ms response time (gray-to-gray), 400 cd/m² peak brightness, 8-bit color depth, 125% sRGB, 95% DCI-P3, and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. In addition to FreeSync Premium and G-Sync-compatible Adaptive Sync, DisplayHDR 400, GamePlus functions (e.g. an fps display), Variable Overdrive 2.0, and the Asus ELMB Sync monitor software DisplayWidget Center are offered.
The interfaces include HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, USB-C (with DP mode), and a headphone output, with the full 270 Hz in WQHD being possible on all graphic signal inputs. As far as ergonomics are concerned, there is hardly anything to complain about tilt, rotation, height adjustment, pivot, VESA mount (100 x 100 mm), blue light filtering, and flicker-free backlight are all included.

The Asus ROG Strix XG27ACMG QHD 1440p monitor consumes less than 30 watts in operation, weighs 3.8 kg without the stand, and features Aura Sync elements (i.e. lighting effects).
