Resident Evil 7 will also be available on Nintendo Switch but with a very special Cloud version that is currently only confirmed for the Japanese territory. Capcom has announced that the acclaimed seventh episode of the famous horror saga will also be available on Switch but in the Cloud version: so gamers face the adventure must be always connected to the internet.
The title will be released this week on the Japanese Nintendo Switch e-Shop and will include all DLC (Banned Footage Volume 1 and 2, End of Zoe and Not a Hero) released on PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One. You can face the whole adventure, both in TV mode, and taking advantage of the portable console, provided you are connected and all the backups will be stored in the Cloud.
Players will be able to try out the first 15 minutes of Resident Evil 7 for free but to continue playing it will be necessary to pay YEN 2,000 – approximately $18 to buy a subscription that will last for 180 days. Capcom has also specified that the Resident Evil 7 Cloud version does not include the English language, so it is not yet known if this particular edition will arrive in the USA. More information could be provided at E3 2018.
