After the launching of the Xiaomi Redmi 2 Pro smartphone, now the Xiaomi India, has announced a price cut for Xiaomi Redmi 2 device in India.
The Xiaomi Redmi 2 device is now available at Rs. 5,999 – approximately $94 and already available for purchase at online Amazon shop. The launched price of the Redmi 2 was Rs. 6,999 – approximately $110, user can save up to Rs.1,000 approximately $15 on each device.
The Xiaomi Redmi 2 is a budget smartphone of Redmi series. This Redmi 2 features a 4.7-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and pixel density of 312 ppi. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz Dual-core processor (Cortex-A53), Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 chip, Adreno 306 GPU and 1GB of RAM.
The Redmi 2 4G has an 8GB of internal memory and also support external Microsd card to expand memory up to 32 GB. The smartphone also features a 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, LED flash and with extra photography features such as Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, panorama and many more. While it has a 8-megapixel front-facing camera with 720p video recording.
