The RedMagic 9 Pro has hit the market, offering a blend of a lightning-fast SoC, a specialized cooling mechanism, and an AMOLED display. Notably, it supports swift charging and integrates shoulder trigger buttons.
Running on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, the device is engineered to sustain high performance without throttling, thanks to its unique cooling setup. The cooling system includes a thermally conductive gel and an active fan, capable of spinning at 22,000 revolutions per minute.
The 6.8-inch AMOLED screen boasts a resolution of 2,480 x 1,116 pixels, a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, and an impressive maximum brightness of 1,600 cd/m². It utilizes Corning Gorilla Glass and implements PWM dimming at a frequency of 2,160 Hz. The AMOLED’s color accuracy is indicated as Delta E less than 1. While the touchscreen operates at 960 Hz, the touch shoulder buttons function at 520 Hz. A dedicated gaming mode can be activated via a button, and users have the option to customize the RGB lighting.
This smartphone operates on an Android 14-based OS and features a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization. Additionally, the 16 MP front camera is discreetly placed beneath the display. It supports dual SIM cards, even within 5G networks, and has provisions for image content output through an adapter. Fingerprint unlocking is also supported.

The Nubia Red Magic 9 Pro offers two variants: The 12 GB RAM and 256 GB internal memory model is priced at $749 on Amazon. Alternatively, for users needing 16 GB of RAM and double the storage, the price is $899. The larger storage variant is available in two color options.
