Realme launched the Realme 2 Pro back in September this year, and the smartphone has been a serious contender in the mid-budget smartphone market in India ever since. The company has now confirmed that it is set to launch the world’s first MediaTek Helio P70-powered Realme U1 smartphone on November 28.
Realme India has confirmed that it is launching the smartphone exclusively on Amazon.in. Earlier, the company had made available the Realme 2 Pro first in India exclusively to Flipkart, and as of now, no Indian launch event has been leaked or announced.
The Amazon India has announced that the Realme U1 will launch on November 28 in the country. The company has also touted the device to be a selfie phone hinting at Most powerful selfie camera ever, and MediaTek Helio P70 12nm FinFET SoC multi-core APU operating at up to 525 MHz for fast and efficient edge-AI processing.
The CPU has a slightly overclocked ARM Cortex-A73 2.1 GHz CPUs and four ARM Cortex-A53 2.0 GHz CPUs. It has ARM Mali-G72 MP3 GPU operating at up to 900 MHz, which promises a 13% performance improvement, compared to the Helio P60.
There are high-resolution depth engine, Anti-blooming engine, multi-frame noise reduction shot and accurate AI detection for the selfie camera. The front of the device tips a Dewdrop display and on-screen navigation buttons with gesture control same as the Realme 2 Pro.
