Realme 3 With 6.2-inch Waterdrop Notch Display, Dual Rear Camera, Android 9 Launched

The Realme 3 has been officially launched in India, it is an upgraded variant of the Realme 2 and comes with a 6.2-inch 19:9 HD+ display, up to 4GB RAM, Dual Rear Cameras and fingerprint sensor from the Realme India being launched today.

Realme 3 Price in India and Availability

The Realme 3 price in India starts from Rs. 8,999 for the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version and the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version costs Rs. 10,999. It has already been listed on the and will go on sale in India from March 12, 2019. The handset comes in Dynamic Black, Radiant Blue and Classic Black color options.

Realme 3 Specifications

The Realme 3 features a 6.2-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ (1520 x 720 pixels) resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio, 88.30% screen-to-body ratio, 450 nits brightness, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and 2.05mm slim frame in size. It is powered by a 2.1 GHz octa-core processor which supported by MediaTek Helio P70 12nm SoC with 900MHz ARM Mali-G72 MP3 GPU and 3GB/4GB of RAM. It packs a 32GB / 64GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 256GB.

On the camera front, the Realme 3 flaunts a dual rear camera setup: a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, LED flash along with a secondary 2-megapixel camera with f/2.4 aperture for portrait shots. For selfie, there is a 13-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, AI beautify that scans 296 facial recognition points and offers customized beauty effects.

The handset has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a new Chroma Boost feature that enhances the colors in pictures using AI. It features a 3D gradient unibody design, comes with dedicated dual SIM and microSD card slots, and packs a 4230mAh battery.

The handset runs on Android 9.0 Pie based on ColorOS 6.0 out of the box. It supports dual SIM slot with dual standby, and for connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, and USB. The device measures 156.1 x 75.6 x 8.3 mm and weighs 175 grams.
