With the latest best wireless mouse gaming model in its DeathAdder series, Razer packs a punch when it comes to technology and price. The new Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro is extremely light, outrageously expensive, and very fast. However, the $150 white mouse only manages 4,000 Hz polling with the optionally available HyperPolling wireless dongle.
Razer is now launching the improved DeathAdder V3 Pro white gaming mouse model for the wireless and eSports-compatible DeathAdder V2 Pro (approx. $70 on Amazon) gaming mouse introduced in 2020. With the brand new DA V3 Pro, Razer is once again pushing the boundaries of technology and price for extremely light, particularly fast, and extremely precise wireless eSports mice.
Only the Razer HyperPolling Wireless Dongle makes the DeathAdder V3 Pro a super wireless mouse. However, the turbo dongle is not part of the standard equipment of the brand new Razer DA V3 Pro. Instead, the high-speed dongle for the DA V3 Pro has to be purchased separately.
The DA V3 Pro follows the Viper V2 Pro and also brings the same technology. The extremely fast and extremely precise PixArt PAW3950 (Focus Pro 30K) is also used as an optical sensor in the DA V3 Pro. As a further technical highlight, Razer has also given the DA V3 Pro the very robust (90 million clicks) and fast (0.2 ms) optical mouse switches of the third generation (no double-clicking, no debounce delay). Razer reduces the internal memory of the DA V3 Pro to a direct memory profile, and Razer omits the lighting altogether.
Razer has also given its eSports mouse DA V3 Pro a tough racing trim, including a new shape for right-handers. Razer has reduced the weight of the DA V3 Pro from 88 grams (DeathAdder V2 Pro) to just around 64 grams. To optimize weight and grip, Razer ditched the rubberized side panels and put grip tapes in the sales box instead. The two DPI buttons on the top have also been omitted.
Price and availability
The new Razer wireless mouse cost $149.99, and it is already available on the Amazon.com store in Black and White color options.
