QNAP TVS-672X and TVS-872X NAS Drives with 10GbE support

QNAP Systems brings two new NAS drives – the TVS-672X and TVS-872X network storage to the market based on the Intel Coffee Lake hardware platform. NAS drives made in a “desktop” format are suitable for use in small and medium-sized businesses.

The new NAS network storage products are based on a quad-core processor Core i3-8100T with a clock frequency of 3.1 GHz. The amount of RAM in the basic configuration is 8 GB, in the maximum – 64 GB.

The TVS-672X version is designed for six drives, the TVS-872X model – for eight. Product sizes 3.5 and 2.5 inches with SATA 3.0 interface can be used. There are also two slots for M.2 2280 solid-state modules with PCIe 3.0 interface. The NAS drives are equipped with a 10GbE network port. Also, there are two 1GbE ports.

Expansion options are provided by PCIe 3.0 x16 and PCIe 3.0 x4 slots. New network storage items have two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C ports and two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, as well as one USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A port. Besides, there is an HDMI 2.0 interface for image output.
