Using Port Trunking technology, you can get speeds up to 20 Gbps. Of course, the ports are also compatible with equipment designed for lower Ethernet speeds: 5 Gbps, 2.5 Gbps, 1 Gbps, and 100 Mbps. The 10 gigabit ethernet card supports iSCSI and SR-IOV. It is equipped with PCIe Gen 3 x4 interface.

This expansion card is suitable for NAS, servers, or personal computers. When installing on a Qnap NAS, you will not need a driver, but you need the storage to run QTS 4.5.2 or QuTS hero h4.5.1 (or newer). For a PC or server running Windows or Linux, you will need a driver downloadable from the Intel website.
