Asus has introduced the ProArt PX13, a lightweight 1.38-kilogram AI-powered laptop for gaming. It delivers powerful performance with an AMD Ryzen AI 300 processor and a GeForce RTX 4070 laptop GPU. Featuring USB 4, a 16:10 OLED display, and Wi-Fi 7, this device offers impressive versatility.
At the launch event at Computex, Asus introduced a new ProArt PX13 that is based on the ROG Flow X13 (REVIEW) but has several upgrades. This starts with the 15.8 millimeter thin, 1.38 kilogram light case, which in the Asus gaming and creative laptop has a “Nano Black Coating” to prevent fingerprints, revised 360-degree hinges, and a trackpad with integrated Asus Dial.
The brand new AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 with twelve performance cores, boost clock frequencies up to 5.1 GHz, integrated Radeon 890M iGPU, and 50 TOPS GPU give the portable 13.3-inch laptop significantly better performance. The processor is operated with a TDP of 70 watts, the graphics chip with a maximum TGP of 90 watts, with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 laptop GPU in the top model. Asus also installs up to 32 GB RAM and a PCIe SSD with a maximum capacity of 2 TB.
The Asus Lumina OLED display highlights the touchscreen laptop for professionals. It runs in a 16:10 format, achieves a 3K resolution, reaches 500 nits of brightness, and displays 100 percent of the DCI-P3 color space. Despite the slim housing, Asus has been able to install a 73 Wh battery and numerous ports, including two USB-C, one with support for USB 4, one USB-A (10 Gbit/s), HDMI 2.1, and a microSD card reader with support for UHS-II memory cards.
