Acer Predator Triton 500 SE with an Intel Core i7 and a GeForce RTX 3070 Ti

With the Predator Triton 500 Special Edition, Acer has introduced a new Predator gaming laptop that is said to be equally suitable for working and gaming – thanks to a sleek metal housing that houses the latest processors and graphics chips.

The Acer Predator Triton 500 SE is aimed at customers who want to use the same notebook in the meeting and at the gaming party. The new Predator laptop comes with a 19.9-millimeter thin metal housing has a simple design, the device cuts a fine figure in any office, as does the keyboard. If desired, RGB lighting ensures the right gaming flair.

The 16-inch display should also meet this requirement – Acer installs a 240 Hz fast WQXGA panel with a response time of just 3 milliseconds and support for Nvidia G-Sync, which is designed in 16:10 format and has a brightness of Reached 500 nits. The DCI-P3 color space can be displayed completely.

Three fans, each with 89 fins, cool the processor and graphics card. The cooling system is completed with liquid metal thermal paste on the processor and four heat pipes. Acer installed an Intel Core i7 i7-12700H of the 12th generation processor as well as an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti. There is also up to 16 GB of LPDDR5-5,200 graphics memory and a maximum of 1 TB of SSD memory, via PCIe 4.0 is connected.

Despite the immense performance, Acer promises a battery life of up to twelve hours. Acer installs an SD card reader, an HDMI 2.1 port, and two Thunderbolt 4 ports (USB-C), which can also be used to charge the Predator Triton 500 SE. There is also 2.5 Gbit/s Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6E, and several USB ports.

The Acer Predator Triton 500 SE (PT516-52s-73YD) is available to pre-order on the Amazon.com for a suggested retail price of $2,399.99. It is expected to be on the market at the end of May.
