Polk Audio has announced the Signa Solo soundbar, a product aimed at those who are looking for an economical solution to improve their TV’s sound. The soundbar measures 99.06 x 8.99 x 9.93 centimeters. Inside it, four 6.35cm mid-woofers are housed with a corresponding section to optimize the low-frequency output. Signa Solo can be rested on a flat or wall-mounted with the holes on the back.
SDA digital surround technology is used to recreate a surround sound. Users can select optimized modes for movies, music or night-time listening. You can also adjust the bass and Voice Adjust, another proprietary technology that allows you to set the level of dialogs so that they are always perfectly intelligible.
The soundbar can be controlled via your TV’s remote control too, eliminating the need to use two units to control all functions. Connectivity is quite simple: there is Bluetooth, an optical digital input, and a 3.5 mm jack analog input. With regard to audio formats, Signa Solo is compatible with Dolby Digital and priced at GBP 150.
