Polaroid has announced a new range of point and shoot camera for travel called Polaroid Now I-Type Instant Camera and it is characterized by curved and fluid lines that mark a departure from the more square shapes of the past and a new generation autofocus lens system.
Unlike Polaroid OneStep+, the vintage instant camera was announced in August 2018, the new point and shoot camera for travel is equipped with a lens that automatically switches from panorama to portrait format, for a more precise shot every time. Another distinctive feature is the flash, which takes into account the ambient light conditions allowing excellent results even in low light situations.
The Polaroid Now’s autofocus 2-lens system gives you sharper photos more easily. It decides which lens is suitable, so you get beautiful portraits in more places, more often — even without the flash. The new film counter display keeps you up-to-date with your camera. The new Accurate Flash gives you just the right amount of light on your subjects.
Polaroid Now is also equipped with a long-lasting battery which, according to the company, allows you to shoot using up to 15 packs of films. The “rainbow theme” will also be present in the new special edition of i-Type Color Wave films, characterized by a series of shades ranging from moon blue to warm tones of orange and red. In addition, the unpublished series of i-Type Black Frame films will also be available, the black frame of which will become a continuous element in the Polaroid product line.
