Polar Vantage M and V Watches gets Strava Live and Training guides Update

Polar is preparing to release an update for the Vantage M and V sports watches, both were announced back in September 2018 and dedicated to all sportsmen who intend to monitor their physical activity in a precise and detailed way.

The update follows that of a couple of months ago when the Finnish manufacturer introduced Sleep Plus Stages to monitor sleep level, Nightly Recharge for estimate recovery from physical exertion and Serene, a series of guided breathing exercises.

Just for that occasion, the release of version 5.0 had been announced in December. Although the deadlines are respected, the polar watches update is now slated to go live on December 31st at 6 AM Eastern.

• Strava Live Segments: road or path segments defined on strava.com where athletes can compete by bike or running. They are useful for dealing with other athletes.
• Pace: function to maintain a constant pace and obtain a target time for a predefined distance. The difference between result and target is then calculated.
• FitSpark: a real training guide with personalized daily exercises created on the basis of recovery level, physical fitness and the way you train. It is based on WHO recommendations, 150 minutes of moderate cardio training or 75 minutes of intense cardio training and endurance training 2 times a week.
