With the Ignite 3, Polar has announced a new, stylish best fitness tracker watch. According to the manufacturer, this fitness watch has numerous functions that help you live a more energized life.
The Polar Ignite 3 fitness smartwatch should help to live in harmony with the body’s rhythm, as described by the manufacturer. The focus will be on the new SleepWise function, which will measure the effects of sleep on energy levels and performance.
It doesn’t stop with the retrospective analysis: The Ignite 3 should be able to analyze the sleep-wake rhythm and thus also determine the performance highs for the coming day. It should allow users to determine the best time for cognitively demanding activities.
Apart from that, of course, the Ignite 3 is also a device for athletes. As already suspected, the fitness watch should also be able to output voice instructions to connected Bluetooth headphones or speakers during training.
The display measures 1.28 inches diagonally with a resolution of 416 x 416 pixels and is protected by Gorilla Glass. The battery life is stated by the manufacturer to be up to five days in watch mode – in training mode with activated GPS and heart rate measurement, the runtime should be up to 30 hours.
The heart rate measurement should benefit from the use of ten LEDs and four light sensors. The GNSS module supports GPS, Glonass, and Galileo. The Polar Ignite 3 is said to be waterproof to a depth of 30 meters and therefore is also suitable for swimming. A barometer or an electric compass is missing.
Polar Ignite 3 price and availability
Polar Ignite 3 is now available from Amazon.co.uk at £289. For the predecessor: Ignite 2, you currently have to pay £100 less than Ignite 3.
