PNY technologies has expanded its XLR8 family of desktop memory modules with the announcement of the performance Gaming Epic-X RGB DDR4 desktop RAM products for gaming desktops.
The PNY memory solutions operate at a frequency of 4000 MHz (CL18) with a supply voltage of 1.35 V. Support is provided for Intel XMP 2.0 overclocking profiles: this will facilitate the configuration of the RAM subsystem in UEFI.
The capacity of DDR4-4000 modules is 8 GB. They will be offered in sets of two with a total volume of 16 GB. A lifetime warranty is provided for new RAM DDR4 modules.
XLR8 Gaming Epic-X RGB DDR4 products are equipped with an aluminum heatsink with addressable multicolor lighting at the top. It can be controlled through a motherboard with ASUS Aura Sync technology, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light Sync, and ASRock Polychrome Sync.

There is no information about the estimated price yet for the PNY XLR8 Gaming Epic-X RGB DDR4 Desktop Memory, but the series also includes solutions operating at 3600, 3200, 3000, 2800, 2666, 2400, and 2133 MHz on Amazon.com and Newegg.com websites.
Recently, PNY Technologies introduced a series of low-cost M.2-2280 SSDs with PCI-Express 3.0 x4 and NVMe 1.3 support. The CS1030 series M.2 NVMe SSD includes 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB models.
