PNY CS1030 Series includes M.2 NVMe SSD up to 2TB

PNY Technologies introduced a series of low-cost M.2-2280 SSDs with PCI-Express 3.0 x4 and NVMe 1.3 support. The CS1030 series M.2 NVMe SSD includes 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB models. The manufacturer does not specify the controller and type of 3D NAND flash memory.

The 256 GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD offers sequential read speeds of up to 2,500 MB/s and sequential writes of up to 1,100 MB/s. The rest of the PNY SSD models reach speeds up to 2,100 MB/s in read mode, and up to 1,900 MB/s in write mode.

New PNY CS1030 M.2 NVMe SSD faster than conventional hard-disk and solid-state drives, these M.2 form factor drives provide increased read and write speeds for faster boot times and quicker application launches.

This M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD utilizes a PCIe interface and 3D NAND components for increased loading times, enhanced system performance, and low power consumption. For motherboards that support multiple M.2 drives, you can take advantage of RAID 0 and 1 protocols for additional configuration options.

The PNY SSD software like self-monitoring, analysis, and reporting technology is built directly into the CS1030. This technology automatically detects and reports possible hardware failures. To help prevent data loss, SMART notifies the host system so preventative action can be taken, saving you from losing any important information.

The CS1030 series comes in 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB models, and it is now available to buy on the and online stores at starting price of $55.99 only. PNY Technologies is known to provide a five-year warranty on the SSD.

Last week, Samsung has also expanded its 870 EVO solid state drive family with the 4TB variant. This solution is suitable for use on desktops and laptops. The SATA 3.0 interface is used to connect to a computer, providing a bandwidth of up to 6 Gb/s. The speed of sequential reading reaches 560 MB/s, the speed of sequential writing is 530 MB/s.
