The PNY Technologies has introduced the new line of NVMe M.2 SSD – CS2130 with a PCI-Express Gen3 x4 interface supporting the NVMe 1.3 protocol. It includes 500 GB, 1 TB, and 2 TB SSD models.
All new PNY SSD three models demonstrate a sequential read of up to 3,500 MB/s and write of up to 3,000 MB/s. As for the speed of sequential recording, it depends on the volume. A 500 GB SSD drive writes data at speeds up to 925 MB/s, a 1 TB SSD drive at speeds up to 1800 MB/s, and a 2TB SSD drive at speeds up to 3000 MB/s.
The type of flash memory used is 3D NAND and the manufacturer does not specify the controller. New PNY SSD is designed to be a high-performance SATA SSD replacement to help realize faster boot times, quicker application launches, and better overall system performance. With no moving parts, the PNY CS2130 is highly durable and less likely to fail.
