PioneerDJ CDJ-3000: New High-Resolution Multi-player launched: Pre-order, availability

In the last few days, after the first teaser about the alleged PioneerDJ CDJ-3000, there has been a lot of rumors about the groundbreaking features of the new flagship of Pioneer Audio might bring with it to put the Denon DJ Prime squad in their place. Almost after 25 years the release of the first CDJ-500, the latest milestone from Pioneer, the High-Resolution CDJ-3000, comes onto the market and wants to proclaim nothing less than a new dimension in DJing. 

So the cat is out of the bag and Pioneer has introduced the feature list and a product video, which should also help the Pioneer CDJ-3000 to become a fixture in the club set up and on the technical riders.

New processors, 9-inch High res touchscreen, Gigabit Ethernet, improved audio design, compatibility with rekordbox DJ PC/MAC at no additional cost, plug & play compatibility with rekordbox iOS, these are some of the items on the list. 

The large touchscreen and the two new CPUs, in particular, should boost performance significantly: 1.2 GHz quad-core ARM Cortex A53, plus a 1.5 GHz DUAL Core Cortex A57 processors. One of the main points of criticism is that the CDJ2000NXS2 would not be powerful enough and the old-school screen is now a thing of the past. But the layout has also been redesigned, for example, with 8 hot cues under the display, a new loop section, a key sync button, etc.
