Pioneer DJ Mixer DJM-V10 With 6-channel 4-Band EQ, and 3-Band Master Isolator

Pioneer DJ is conjuring up a new 6-channel Professional DJ Mixer at NAMM 2020. The wait is over: Pioneer DJ Mixer DJM-V10 comes with a new design, a number of new features and, as before, a powerful price tag.

Pioneer DJ DJM-V10

The device impresses with 6 channels and now uses a 4-band EQ per channel as standard. There is also a revised filter section, now with a separate high-low pass for the full control range and a redesigned send-return with its own send FX such as short delay, long delay, dub echo and reverb, DIN-MIDI and Multi I/O sockets and system links are on board. There are also channel compressors and a number of technical innovations that could make the DJM-V10 a new star in the club mixer heaven.

New Concept

The new DJM-V10 makes it particularly easy to create your very own and unique sound. The DJM-V10 is not only based on a completely new concept but is also a completely new type of mixer. Creative DJs can easily create unique soundscapes with it. The mix center with six channels not only impresses with its warm and energetic sound with a lot of presence but also offers unique functions. With the DJM-V10, DJs take full control of the mix and can create something creative that the crowd has never heard of.

6-channel Pioneer DJ Mixer

In addition to CDJs, turntables and other devices with line signals can also be connected to the six channels of the DJM-V10. With the help of the specially developed 4-band EQs, the sound can be adapted to your own wishes. Treble and bass can be completely hidden to build a mix, for example, only with the two middle bands – with their own curve. The brand new filter works as a high or low pass filter and can be perfectly controlled via a controller in the respective channel. If you turn the control from left to right, the sound changes and gives every track that special kick.

Extended send/return

The extended send/return section of the DJM-V10 opens up completely new creative possibilities. Audio signals can be sent to one of the four integrated FX and also to two external effects devices. If you connect effect devices, guitar effect pedals or other devices to the mixer, a very individual setup is created in no time, which opens up completely new performance possibilities. The effect signals can either be fed back directly into the respective channel or into the master output. If the effect signal is fed back to a separate channel, it can be further processed with EQ and filter. If you connect a smartphone via MULTI I/O, you can even integrate selected smartphone apps into your performance.

Master Isolator, Booth EQ and Sound

Every detail of the DJM-V10 has been developed with the utmost care and the aim to achieve the best possible sound. The new mixer gives DJs a tool that they can use to shape their own sound. Signals that have been processed with the six channels and FX can then be further modified with the 3-band master Isolator in the master output. Whether a drastic intervention in the sound or final fine-tuning for the mix, everything is possible with this powerful tool. If you want to play older tracks together with currently mastered tracks, you will love the compressor. For the first time, a compressor of this type can be found in a mixer from Pioneer DJ. Tracks that previously could not be mixed due to their different loudness can now be used together without any problems. As soon as the compressor is activated in the selected channel, its loudness is increased so that a balanced and natural-sounding overall mix is created. With Beat FX, including the brand new Shimmer, tracks get more depth and harmony.

With the new Booth EQ, the monitor sound can be easily adapted to your own wishes. Thanks to double headphone outputs – each with its own monitor channel and level control – DJ transfers and joint performances with other DJs are extremely comfortable and without loss of sound in the headphone sound.

To use it with rekordbox dj / dvs, the mixer is connected to a computer running the current version of the software (rekordbox dj / dvs license required. Sold separately). The DJM-V10 is also Serato DVS-ready (Serato DJ club kit license required.)
