With the SL300II daylight photography light, Godox is continuing its successful SL series – and the new camera flash light kit offers even more performance.

Godox SL300II daylight photography light

The new Godox SL300II fits seamlessly into the existing SL product family and goes one better in terms of performance. With an impressive illuminance of 99,300 lux at one meter including the standard reflector, it offers users even more opportunities to fully develop their creative potential and to meet the requirements of a wide variety of applications.

It is also supported by eight lighting effects for video recording – lightning (three lightning patterns), storm (three patterns), TV, and broken light bulb. The SL300 II is equipped with a Bowens mount for light formers, silent operating mode, and dimming function. Optionally there is a remote control.

The video light of the SL series from Godox supports video and content creators, but also photographers inputting the respective scene in the right light. The SSL series stands for quality and performance in equal measure. The new SL300II now expands this family with an extra-strong and improved model. The light output of the 300 watts LED is comparable to that of a 3000-watt halogen lamp. With a color temperature of 5,500 Kelvin, it constantly produces light similar to daylight (5600K) with high color accuracy and guarantees reproducible recordings at all times. In addition, it can be dimmed from 100% to 1%.

The brightness can be adjusted between 0 and 100 percent for precise control of the lighting effects. The high CRI/TLCI rating of 96+/97+ ensures that the colors can be reproduced naturally and genuinely in every scenario.

When it comes to getting recordings with crystal clear sound, the SL300II’s fan can be turned off and the light can be set to “silent mode”. That eliminates all disturbing background noise.

The U-shaped bracket, which can be rotated at 330°, ensures flexibility. Suitable for the vast majority of light stands, it meets the numerous lighting setup requirements. The SL300II photography light is compatible with all Bowens mounts and can be integrated into the Godox lighting system.

Brightness and other settings can be set and changed using the RC-A6 radio remote control, which is optionally available as an accessory. 32 channels in 16 groups are available so that no interference can occur.
