Philips Hue Play and Signe Smart Lights Announced

The Philips Hue catalog of lamps and smart lights are with a full of proposals, but the company does not seem to want to slow down. It provides an indirect light effect and can sit horizontally or vertically next to your TV or be mounted behind as a backlight. Nothing forbids you to leave it on the floor or on a bookshelf, in both cases the small size and Black and White color options will help to disguise its presence.

It is possible to chain up to three Hue Play light bars and use them with a single socket. Like the other Philips Hue products, connecting to the Philips Hue bridge and Philips Hue app, it can be personalized, allowing you to choose from 16 million different colors to create the perfect ambiance to suit every mood. The colors of the bar can also be synchronized with the content played on the PC or Mac monitor via the Hue Sync app.

Philips Hue Play will debut at the gaming event Gamescom in Germany at the Razer booth, on August 21, 2018, before it’s officially launched at IFA 2018.

We already know the availability and price: in North America, it will be available from the end of October; while in Europe it will arrive in mid-October with pre-order in selected countries from August 20 at the price of EUR 69.95 for a single bar, and EUR 129.95 for the bundle with two units.
