Philips is introducing the 34-inch Evnia 34M2C5501A, the best ultrawide 2K monitor specifically designed for gaming on a widescreen display. Notably, it features a curved VA panel with a 180Hz refresh rate. In addition, it includes built-in speakers, AMD FreeSync for seamless visuals, and Ambiglow lighting, which further enhances immersion.

The Philips Evnia 34M2C5501A, a curved low lag monitor, will soon be launched in the UK. The Evnia high refresh rate gaming monitor features a 34-inch curved display with a 21:9 aspect ratio. It uses a 1500R VA panel with an UltraWide Quad HD resolution (3440 x 1440 px) and a 180 Hz refresh rate.
The response time is 1 ms (gray to gray), the color depth is 10 bits (8 bits + FRC), the contrast ratio is 4000:1, and the brightness is 300 cd/m². In addition, the ultra-wide gaming monitor also features 126 percent sRGB, 95 percent DCI-P3, 91 percent Adobe RGB, a Delta-E value of less than 2, and a typical power consumption of around 48 watts.
FreeSync Premium eliminates unsightly image tearing in games. Alternatively, an innovative mode can be used to combat moving image blur. The WQHD gaming monitor with 180Hz also includes AI-supported three-sided Ambiglow and picture-in-picture or picture-by-picture modes.
The interfaces include two HDMI 2.0 inputs (supporting UWQHD at up to 100 Hz), a DisplayPort 1.4 (offering UWQHD at up to 180 Hz), a USB 3.2 hub (Gen 1), and a headphone output. In addition, the 34-inch DisplayHDR 400-certified model provides various ergonomic features, such as tilt, rotation, and height adjustment. Furthermore, it supports a VESA mount (100 x 100 mm) and includes blue light filtering and flicker-free backlighting for enhanced comfort.
