Philips Evnia 42M2N8900 OLED gaming monitor is now available online

Philips has started accepting orders for the Evnia 42M2N8900, its flagship gaming monitor. Featuring a wide OLED panel, the Philips 42M2N8900 offers 4K resolution, a 138Hz refresh rate, and excellent color accuracy. Philips has also equipped the monitor with modern I/O, including HDMI 2.1 and USB Type-C ports.

Philips finally released the Evnia 42M2N8900, one of four monitors the company previewed in October 2022. The Philips 42M2N8900 is being launched alongside the Evnia 34M2C8600 as the most expensive model in the Evnia series, albeit at a slightly lower price than Philips announced four months ago.

To sum up, the Evnia 42M2N8900 is an OLED gaming monitor that measures 41.5 inches. According to Philips, the monitor displays a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels with a refresh rate of 138 Hz. Additionally, the panel offers 0.1ms GtG response times, 450 nit peak brightness, low input lag mode, and HDR10 support. Additionally, the Philips 42M2N8900 covers 93.6% of the AdobeRGB color space and features a typical contrast ratio of 1,500,000:1 with Delta E <2 (sRGB) deviations.

Philips also equips the Evnia 42M2N8900 with 3-sided Ambiglow lights, two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4 connection, and a USB Type-C port supporting data, video, and power (90 W ). In addition, the Evnia 42M2N8900 is equipped with a single USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port, one upstream USB Type-B port and four downstream USB Type-A ports.

Furthermore, the Philips Evnia 42M2N8900 is equipped with 10 W stereo speakers, a 100 x 100 mm VESA mount, and an adjustable stand.
