Philips Momentum 27M1C3200VL Curved Gaming Monitor with 165 Hz unveiled

From MMD brand Philips comes another new curved gaming monitor called Momentum 27M1C3200VL. The 27-inch Philips monitor has a curved VA panel with Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels), a maximum refresh rate of 165 Hz, and 1500 R curvature.

There is no HDR support, but this is not a loss, because of the moderate brightness (250 cd/m²) and the missing dimming zones. The curved computer monitor offers a 3000:1 contrast ratio, 8-bit color depth, 4 ms response time (grey to gray), and 121.1 percent sRGB.

If you want to eliminate tearing in games, you can use Adaptive Sync (probably FreeSync Premium). Alternatively, a mode against the blurring of moving images is available. The interface selection includes two HDMI 2.0 inputs, a DisplayPort 1.4, and a headphone output. USB ports are missing.

In terms of ergonomics: only tilt support, VESA mount (100 x 100 mm), blue light filtering, and a flicker-free backlight are offered. The Philips Momentum 27M1C3200VL is mercury-free, has a power requirement of 20.7 watts, and the weight without the stand is 4.13 kg, and the dimensions are 611 x 366 x 83 mm (W x H x D).
