Philips 275V8LA Budget monitor with WQHD and 4000:1 contrast ratio

The V-Line from Philips stands for inexpensive LED monitors that are intended for use in the office area. That same series is now being expanded with the Philips 275V8LA.

Philips 275V8LA LED monitor

The new 27-inch 1440p monitor comes with a VA panel, WQHD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels), 75 Hz refresh rate, 4000:1 contrast, 250 cd/m² luminance, 8-bit color depth, 4 ms fast gray change, and 25.2 watts of power consumption.

Two integrated 2-watt speakers were thought of, as was Adaptive-Sync support so that games can be played in between without annoying tearing. On the interface side, you have to be content with two HDMI 1.4 inputs, a DisplayPort 1.2, and a headphone output. You won’t find any USB ports. There are also savings on the ergonomic side: inclination, VESA mount (100 x 100 mm), blue light filtering, and a flicker-free backlight are offered.

The Philips 275V8LA weighs 3.61 kg without the stand, measures 614 x 367 x 53 mm (W x H x D), is mercury-free, and comes in packaging made from 100 percent recycled material.
