Philips 242S9JML Business monitor with Ergonomic design

The MMD brand Philips is planning a new S-Line business monitor for office purposes. The Philips 242S9JML comes with a built-in VA panel that has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) at a maximum of 75 Hz and promises a 3000:1 contrast ratio.

The new Philips monitor has a response time of 4 ms (grey to gray), the brightness is 300 cd/m², and NTSC 80% (typical) colour gamut. The LED monitor also features Adaptive-Sync (probably without LFC), two internal 2-watt speakers, and sRGB coverage.

On the interface side, HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort 1.2, VGA, a USB 3.2 hub (Gen 1), a headphone output, and a microphone input are offered. In terms of ergonomics, a 24 computer monitor has tilt, pivot, lift and swivel support. The Office monitor has a VESA mount (100 x 100 mm), blue light filtering, and a flicker-free backlight.

Depending on the operating mode, the power consumption of the new Philips monitor range between 10.8 and 15 watts.
