Philips 242S9JAL 24-inch FHD VA monitor with 75Hz and 3000:1 contrast

The MMD brand Philips introduced a new S-Line business monitor for office purposes. The Philips 242S9JAL 24-inch VA monitor has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) at a maximum of 75 Hz and promises a 3000:1 contrast ratio.

The response time is 4 ms (grey to gray), the brightness is 300 cd/m², and the color depth is 8 bits. The new Philips 24 inch monitor also features Adaptive-Sync (probably without LFC), two internal 2-watt speakers, and wide sRGB coverage.

On the interface side, HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort 1.2, VGA, a USB 3.2 hub (Gen 1), a headphone output, and a microphone input are offered. In terms of ergonomics, you have to be satisfied with the tilt, VESA mount (100 x 100 mm), blue light filtering, and flicker-free backlight.
