Pergear updated its 12mm f2 wide-angle lens, originally launched in 2020. Pergear 12mm f2 II lens supports APS-C format for F, E, R, Z, and MFT mounts. The updated version features a slightly redesigned body and weighs 70 g less than the original.

This lens combines retro design with a compact, lightweight build, making it a versatile choice for everyday use. Additionally, its f/2.0 aperture excels in low light, while also providing precise depth-of-field control. Moreover, the 10-blade diaphragm ensures smooth, natural bokeh, perfect for selective focus shots.
The optical system includes 12 elements in 9 groups, with two extra-low dispersion and two aspherical elements to reduce chromatic aberration and distortion. Its 12mm focal length, 97° field of view, and 0.18m close focusing distance enable varied shooting opportunities. The front accommodates filters, lens hoods, and other add-ons, expanding creative options.
The clicked aperture design allows precise adjustments for accurate exposure and seamless transitions, offering a responsive and intuitive experience.

As last time, the company presented very ascetic data about this lens, without graphs and optical schemes, and, traditionally, they also stinted on test shots. But I would like to see, for example, interior photography, subject matter, and more architecture.
